This is an excellent tour to get to know Manchester and its history. My wife and I did the tour on a very rainy day. Despite the rain Garrett was on time, and he's such a friendly and informed tour guide! The tour lasts about 2.5 hours and he shares very detailed accounts of historic events and curious facts.Very personalized tour 100% recommended!!

Amazing tour! Gareth was fun and very knowledgeable. I have done other tours of Manchester and this one was so far the best. It was just about 2.5 h and covered all of Manchesters must sees in the city centre and more :)

I had no idea what to expect on a \free tour\ but this was incredible. Gareth was incredibly knowledgeable about Manchester it's history and culture. The tour was just about the right length although I could have listened to Gareth for hours. He is personable and I felt like he really tried to get to know each of the people on the tour and even gave me some personal recommendations of places I would enjoy after the tour. I have been travelling around England and have been on many paid tours and this by far was the best
